The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced 13 July 2017. And looks like many ‘new students’ were ushered in the list of best tv series- Five new shows, including “Stranger Things” Netflix’s breakout hit. While the list of Emmy nominations is one combination of the best-shows-ever, what leaves us stumped is the dilemma of how to watch them in India.

Even with the absence of Games Of Thrones, HBO showed that remains the obvious choice with a total of 110 nominations—the highest among all networks—thanks to the likes of Big Little Lies, The Wizard Of Lies, The Night Of, Veep, and Westworld that topped the chart with a total of 22 nominations along with NBC’s Saturday Night Live.The other contenders for the Outstanding Drama Series are  Netflix’ Stranger Things, The Crown, and  House of Cards and AMC’s Better Call Saul.

Westworld garnered 22 nominations.

The comedy sketch series “Saturday Night Live” and the HBO drama “Westworld” both earned the most Emmy nominations for individual shows with 22. “SNL” is now the most Emmy nominated series of all time with a total of 231 over the history of the show.

The Crown

But this often ends up being a momentary second of bliss because- “Where to watch these amazing, intricate storylines?” Well, Stranger Things, The Crown, and House of Cards are obviously available on Netflix. And Hotstar, Star Network’s popular streaming platform, is the home to many of the non-Netflix Emmy nominated shows like All I Ever Wanted, Big Little Lies, and Homeland.
