Well, apparently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sexist comment “Despite Being a Woman” has caused a surge of opinionated tweets on twitter.
On Day-2 of his visit to Bangladesh, the Prime Minister goofed up big-time! In an attempt to what seemed as praising Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, NaMo ended up doing just the opposite.
“We know solution for everything, but not terrorism. I am happy that Bangladesh Prime Minister, despite being a woman, has declared zero tolerance for terrorism,” the Prime Minister said in his hour-long address to Dhaka University on June 7, 2015.
What exactly were you trying to imply, Sir?
So is the #PM trying to say we women are generally tolerant of terrorism? #fail #despitebeingawoman

It appears PM in Bangladesh has had amnesia about a heroine the Hindutva brigade otherwise is fond of. Rani Lakshmi Bai. #DespiteBeingAWoman

…others are feverishly supporting their dear Prime Minister.
This #DespiteBeingAWoman is a MSM trick similar to #ModiInsultsIndia, twist PM's statements and show a successful visit in negative light.

Being a woman, it is frustrating to hear things like this, even more so, when coming from the PRIME Minister of the nation we live in. Yes, this is chauvinistic, sexist, unfair, and 10,000 other things! But I think the real problem is embedded deep inside the thick skulls of men who still believe that women are weak. Period.
Mister Prime Minister? Hello? Are you listening?
Tell us your take on this controversy, #DespiteBeingAWoman!
