Well, apparently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sexist comment “Despite Being a Woman” has caused a surge of opinionated tweets on twitter.

On Day-2 of his visit to Bangladesh, the Prime Minister goofed up big-time! In an attempt to what seemed as praising Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, NaMo ended up doing just the opposite.

“We know solution for everything, but not terrorism. I am happy that Bangladesh Prime Minister, despite being a woman, has declared zero tolerance for terrorism,” the Prime Minister said in his hour-long address to Dhaka University on June 7, 2015.

What exactly were you trying to imply, Sir?

Err, pardon me, but I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of..

For those of us who are still in the grey area about the Prime Minister’s comment…

PM Modi’s controversial comment is giving rise to quite a range of reactions. While some are blatantly displaying mockery…

…others are feverishly supporting their dear Prime Minister.

This guy took it to a whole new direction:

This one here is my personal favorite. Clever humor! *Grinning*

Being a woman, it is frustrating to hear things like this, even more so, when coming from the PRIME Minister of the nation we live in. Yes, this is chauvinistic, sexist, unfair, and 10,000 other things! But I think the real problem is embedded deep inside the thick skulls of men who still believe that women are weak. Period.

Mister Prime Minister? Hello? Are you listening?
