Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Thanks A Female Chopper Pilot On Twitter

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who was named Congress General Secretary in January, was in Fatehpur Sikri on Monday for a campaign. She thanked a chopper pilot who flew her, on Twitter the next day. Priyanka posted a photo of her along with the pilot on her Twitter account.

So proud to be flown by a lady today, that too in a chopper!
The Congress has been trying to gain the confidence of women voters with promises such as 33% reservation in parliament, amongst many others that were mentioned in their recently-released manifesto. Rahul Gandhi also said that he’s committed to passing the women’s reservation bill in the Lok Sabha and promised further reservations in jobs and education. Priyanka, who has faced quite a few sexist remarks after being declared General Secretary in her election rallies, has accused the BJP of being negligent towards women.
