Instead Of Hatred, Sharon Stone Chose To React With Compassion To Madonna’s Past Letter

What could have been another fight between celebs, turned out to be an act of wisdom and true friendship.

Lately, a past letter allegedly written by Madonna to ‘J’ (thought to be the actor John Enos) was leaked. Madonna was seen bursting out her frustration over her career and called Sharon Stone and Whitney Houston ‘horribly mediocre’.

Though the letter had the capacity to generate a rivalry between Madonna and Stone, yet Stone chose to put all chaos at rest. She took to Facebook and described how she cherish their friendship and love Madonna.

Her post said, “First, I think it’s absurd that anyone is publishing your private letters. Therefore; I publish publicly. Know that I am your friend. I have wished to be rock stars in some private moments… have felt as mediocre as you described. We know, as only those who have survived so long that owning our own mediocrity is the only way to own our own strengths; to become all that we both have become. I love and adore you; won’t be pitted against you by any invasion of our personal journeys.”

Madonna’s letter, which will be auctioned this month, said many things about the actor and the singer. An excerpt of the letter reads, “I have made so many people angry that I’m being punished and basically being made to be quiet and sit in a corner while other less interesting and exciting people are reaping the benefits of the road I’ve paid… It’s so unequivocably [sic] frustrating to read that Whitney Houston has the music career I wish I had and Sharon Stone has the film career I’ll never have… Not because I want to be these women because I’d rather die but they’re so horribly mediocre and they’re always being held up as paragons of virtue and some sort of measuring stick to humiliate me.”

Sharon Stone has been incredibly wonderful to address the entire situation with calmness and prudence. She is not only proving to be a good friend, but also show us the way of compassion and affection.

More love to you Sharon Stone!
