Bollywood star, Shahid Kapoor is finally getting married. And though we’re not your Bollywood-daily dose, we really want to consider this news.
Shahid’s fan page on Twitter recently posted the wedding card of the star who is marrying the beautiful lady, Mira Rajput. The card has been designed by Ravish Kapoor, one who has designed invites for IIFA 2015.

But why this card interests us so much?
Ravish revealed few secrets of this special card to media:
“Shahid was very particular about everything – font, colour. He doesn’t like Gold and he had told us to use minimum of Gold. So if you notice, we have written only his and Mira’s names in Gold. Then, he was the one who suggested us to keep tea in the box. His father Pankaj ji is like a connoisseur of tea, so we discussed with him too. When we were designing the card, that day only he told us. ‘Both are my mothers and both names should be there.’ He also said Neelima ji’s name should be above and then Supriya ji and then Pankaj ji. In fact, earlier we had planned to design a logo and place it near peacock on the front cover. So I kept “S” above “M”. He didn’t like it. He said, “Either ‘S’ and ‘M’ should be at the same level, or ‘M’ should be above.”
Only a person with heart full of compassion can say things like this. Valuing his step-mother as much as he values his own mother is an act of bravery. Moreover, it’s so sweet of him urging to put Mira’s initial at the same level. This man certainly believes in equality.
The wedding is on July 7 will be followed by a grand reception on July 12 in Mumbai.
PS – Move on, girls. 😛
