Why This Photo Of Breastfeeding Women Soldiers Going Viral?

There were no breastfeeding rooms in the El Paso, Texas, Air Force during the late 90’s. Women working there used to feed their babies in empty offices or bathrooms.
Today, they have a nursing room in the headquarters that has comfortable chairs, a refrigerator for storing milk and a sink.
When Tara Ruby, an ex-servicewoman of Air Force and now a photographer, learnt about this development, she decided to capture this happiness in her lenses.
She says, “I thought it was be nice to offer some photographs as an additional show of support. Seeing a picture like that helps mothers understand they can be an active soldier and provide support to their children.”
Sigh, this picture is both emotional & inspiring. Do you agree?
Tara says, “I think it’s great the Army is supporting active duty mothers. Sometimes, you hit a point in your military career where you have to choose between being a soldier and a mother, and a photo like this helps mothers so they don’t have to choose.”
