12-year-old Lydia with Indian-origin is a wonder! She has achieved the highest ever score of 162 on a Mensa IQ test, which is way better than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking!
Lydia Sebastian participated in Cattell III B paper entrance exam supervised by Mensa, the society for people with high IQs. She said the paper challenged her language skills, including analogies and definitions, and her sense of logic.
Cattell III B has 150 questions, often assessing comprehension through passages of texts, and the maximum score that can be achieved is 161 for adults, and 162 for under-18s. Both Hawking and Einstein are thought to have an IQ of 160.
Lydia told The Guardian, “At first, I was really nervous but once I started, it was much easier than I expected it to be and then I relaxed.”
This brilliant child has read all the Harry Potter books in the series three times, and keeps checking her IQ on various other websites. She is even fond of violin and has been playing it since the age of 4.
