Madeline Stuart, 18, suffers from Down syndrome. But that doesn’t stop her from walking the ramp of the world’s topmost fashion show – New York Fashion Week.
Madeline is happy, and so is her family. Her mother said, “Madeline is very excited. I think it’s amazing that she’s been given this opportunity. It’s a fantastic platform for us to get our beliefs across on inclusion and disability.” The credit goes to her mother who uploaded photographs of Madeline on Facebook where they quickly went viral, bringing Madeline lots of offers.
Madeline is already a superstar after a handbag line (belonging to brand EverMaya) has been named after her. The money generated from its sales goes to the National Down Syndrome society.
Madeline’s family is an example for those parents who underestimate their children born with this medical condition. Check out few Jaipur parents who are so-so proud of their special kids!
