Mom Stares Back At Breastfeeding Haters In Viral Selfie

Most women would undoubtedly shy away from taking their breasts out and feeding their miracle of life in public. Most women would rather choose to bottle up their precious milk, just because they wish to avoid the sniggering, hurtful comments and all that staring.

Some would be curious, and some would be downright disgusted watching this natural, raw phenomenon in all of it’s naked glory. Yet, people are somehow comfortable seeing the same pair of ta-ta’s in low cut blouses and bikini tops.

This double standard was rightly called out by Jennifer Taylor, a 21-year-old mom, when she posted a breast-feeding selfie, with her 1-year old daughter Nyomi on Facebook, with a strong message.

She titled her selfie as “My face when people stare at me feeding my child”. This viral selfie has been shared over 21,000 times since Sep, 27.

According to Jennifer, it’s socially acceptable for women to wear outfits that reveal cleavage, she explained,”But the moment I pull my breast out to feed my daughter it’s a problem?” she added, calling for people to mind their own business. “Let me nourish my daughter.” (You go girl!)

Jennifer further states, “People have become so artificial that it’s out of the norm to use my breasts for their natural purpose.”

Taylor’s epic rant is being viewed as an attempt of a mother to break the shackles of the social taboo of breastfeeding, and as an encouragement to women all over the world to shamelessly address issues which need to be accepted by the world, ASAP.

So ladies, flip off your hypocrite haters and do what works for you! #GirlPower.
