31-year-old Mandy has fallen in love with India. She tells, “I loved everything and I am not ready to go home yet. The food has been an absolute highlight of this trip. I wasn’t expecting that. I love Indian food. We have had litti choka and kebab in Lucknow and so many good sweets. I definitely want to get some masala tea. I am a big tea drinker and this tea is different and delightful”
What more? She even wants to act in Bollywood movies! She says, “It would be so cool to come and work here. I would do that in a heartbeat, if the role is cool and something different, which I am assuming it would be. What Bollywood film should I check out? I am going to write down these suggestions.”
But what has impressed Mandy the most is the spirit of our brave Indian women. She exclaims, “I have really been taken by the kindness of people here. Especially by the spirit of women … I did not expect that. I wasn’t sure what I was going to encounter. The women are so confident, spirited and universal here.”

After all the backlash that we get for being an unsafe country and blah blah, It feels so refreshing when someone talks about our beautiful India with this perspective.
