Every day, I NEED to come across something extremely adorable on the internet, in order to banish my morning blues. Be it a video of a puppy snoring, a cat falling off a railing, some parody, anything!
Today, my daily dose of happiness was delivered in the form of a video, featuring little girls dressed as some of the most influential and powerful American women of 2015. They capture their iconic moments while having the coolest dress-up party ever!
The video is the form of an ode, with “I’m worth it” playing in the background. They honor women like Viola Davis, Hilary Clinton, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Amy Schumer, Misty Copeland, etc.
In the video, little girls on the rise like football star Sam Gordon and gymnast and YouTuber Flippin’ Katie portray 10 of 2015’s most stand-out women. Sophia Grace of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” fame lends her vocals to the video, while viral dance sensation Heaven King brings her moves to play the American Ballet Theatre’s first black female principal dancer, Misty Copeland. The video also highlights Amy Schumer’s “Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup” sketch, Viola Davis’ historical Emmy win and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s contribution to making same-sex marriage legal nationwide.
Told ya’, you won’t regret it!
