How To Burn That Notorious Face Fat!

‘Fat’ is an ill-famed little creature that sews our clothes tighter late at night. It finds a spot (or as in my case, spots) on our body, and pitches a tent. Those chubby cheeks were acceptable when we were babies, but now, I need those damn cheekbones and a prominent jaw line to make me feel like a Greek goddess!
But, worry not, ladies! Swear by these 12 rules and unearth those gorgeous bones buried deep beneath the evil fat *Fingers crossed!*
- Face Yoga
Widen your eyes and stare at a particular point in front of your face. Hold your face for ten seconds, and then relax it. Do this four-five times. Make a fish face by sucking in your cheeks. Do this five times. Take a deep breath and then exhale from the mouth. Repeat it four times. Fill your mouth with air. Press your lips together and close your mouth. Now move the trapped air from one side to the other. Keep doing this for 5 minutes to get rid of chubby cheeks. Form an ‘O’ shape with your lips and blow out the air, as if you are whistling. Look upwards and blow air out of your mouth, as hard as you can. This will help strengthen your jaw line. Lastly, smiling continues to be the best form of exercise to shed fat from your face.
The golden rule to lose weight is to drink plenty of water. It keeps you hydrated and also flushes out all the toxins. When it comes to the face, water keeps it moisturized and thereby helps prevent wrinkles.
3. Eat Healthy Food
Consuming a wholesome diet is very important. If you want to lose body as well as facial weight, eating the right food not only helps you to lose weight, but also keeps you energised and healthy. In addition, you must eat your meals at the correct time because it plays an important role in the digestion of the food. Remember to include fresh fruits, fibre-rich veggies and calcium in your diet.
4. Avoid Junk Food
Avoid eating junk food like burgers, etc., since they are rich in fat. Besides, reduce the intake of salty and sugary foodstuffs, and also refrain from caffeine.
5. Healthy Snacking
Believe it or not, snacking between meals can be a healthy habit, provided one eats nutritious snacks, instead of snacking on cookies, cakes or popcorn. Having small portions of fruits and vegetables may be a good idea.
6. Get Your Beauty Sleep
All work and no play make Jack (or Jane) a dull boy (or girl)! Adults need eight hours of sleep to prevent their facial muscles from sagging. Lack of sleep can even cause dark circles, which can make your face look bloated.
7. Chew Gum
Chewing gum is a good way to exercise your facial muscles. However, make sure that you do not go overboard, as the sugar in the gums could make you fat! So, choose sugar-free gums.
8. Facial Massage
You can lose considerable amount of fat from your face by regular facial massage. It enhances oxygen and blood circulation, which, in turn, helps tighten your skin.
9. Clay Mask
Natural organic clay mask helps pull your skin to prevent it from sagging. As we age, our skin tends to lose its elasticity, and hence, it droops. Using a natural clay mask once a week to tone up your skin makes your face look thinner.
10. Quit Alcohol and Smoking
Alcohol forces your body to retain water, which causes puffiness on the face. On the other hand, smoking leads to fine lines and sagging which makes your face look chubby.

After the previously mentioned steps for actually losing weight, here are some ways to “hide” the facial fat which is still visible. The foremost way is, of course, to use make-up, which makes your face look thin.
