Collaboration with Fashion designer Kirti Rathore and JWB is like a match made in heaven. Last time when we had her for one of our earlier campaigns, we were smitten by the warmth of her heart. This time is no exception.
Kirti is a part of our social campaign ‘Classroom on Wheels’ which supports the education of underprivileged school-going slum kids.
“Soon after you handed me over this bag, my little son snatched it from me. He has been playing with it every day. Now that he will see it being cut into pieces, he’s going to howl”, grinned Kirti.
Kirti dry-cleaned the bag before making any move.
She continued, “Since the bag was in a good condition, its inner part will be used as the coat’s astar. The outer velvet fabric is beautiful and I am excited to see the final product coming out of it.”
So are we, Kirti. So are we!!
I am going to find one of my youngest customers at ‘Classroom on Wheels’!! Can’t wait to make him wear it!” At the back, Kirti is letting the original logo of ‘Tom & Jerry’ stay.
Can you see the excitement on her face? Let it keep you glued with our campaign. Meanwhile, if you want to know what other few designers are making out of their respective old school bags, click here, here and here!
PS – We’re soon going to put the details of the event’s venue and time on the website, so that our readers can visit and contribute too.
