I love Yoga, however, I detested it back in school. You know why? Because I was a lazy bum, and I’d rather have bunked my Yoga classes! Our school was kind enough to introduce it, and yes, I believe that exercise in any form should be practiced regularly, Yoga being my favorite.

So the HRD Ministry has asked all states to make Yoga compulsory in the school curriculums. The course is expected to begin with the coming academic session.

“Recently, our HRD Minister has sent a notice to all states asking them to make yoga compulsory (in schools). I think it will be started in all schools from the coming academic session,” Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik, said in Lok Sabha during Question Hour.
