The 6th ‘Women in the World’ Summit took place in the NYC few days back, and our very own Barkha Dutt was one of the speakers in the ceremony.
The summit’s panel even had the director of the banned documentary India’s Daughter – Leslee Udwin. During the interview, Barkha was asked by Norah O’Donnell about the horrific Nirbhaya case.
At that, Barkha stated some facts and informed everyone about the instances of sexual violence being higher in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Watch this video where Barkha gives her badass response to the negative stereotype of Indian women:
Who wants to see the video again? We certainly do!
