A story of one groom who read vows to a little daughter of his bride

This could have been another wedding with a bride in white and posh guests around, however, it wasn’t so. The groom was marrying a bride with a little daughter from a previous marriage, and the way he handled this fact deserves admiration.Brian Scott, a 27-year-old NASCAR driver, met model Whitney Kay the year before when they were introduced by mutual friends.

So at their wedding in the mountains of McCall, Idaho, after reading Whitney his vows, Brian turned to her daughter. “Brielle, can I tell you something?” he asked.

And what he said next left us and all the guests teary-eyed:

“I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street and bring comfort to your life,” he said, choking back tears. “I vow to make you say your prayers before you eat. I promise to read you stories at night, to always tuck you in real tight. I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother. And above all else, I vow to protect you, care for you, and love you forever,” he finished.

How magic it is!!! Watch the video of that once in a lifetime moment:

We wish every man who has a daughter to realize this very moment that having a little girl in your life is a blessing and a huge responsibility. Hence, through his relationship with her mommy she will explore the world of relationships with men. She will know her place in those relationships, she will learn courage to stand for herself, she will realize her worth.

JWB is still crying… it is so fantastic.
