101 Y.O. Mann Kaur Steals The Show As She Walks The Ramp With Milind Soman

The Amazon India Fashion Week which took place in Delhi this year had a unique theme this year- no bars on age and no catering to the usual expectations of a fashion show. And that they did with 101-year-old Mann Kaur and 98-year-old V Nanammal walking the ramp with Milind Soman with them!

The Spring-Summer 2018 edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) took place on Wednesday, where Milind Soman walked the ramp for designer Nida Mahmood’s brand Deivee. But apart from Milind Soman as the ‘wow’ factor, this is the only fashion show that has no weight, height or age restriction.

The audience expecting a bevy of models to join Milind on stage were pleasantly surprised when they saw Mann Kaur from Chandigarh, walk or more like, run the ramp with him! This 101-year-old lady had won the 100m race at the World Masters Games that took place in Auckland in New Zealand, this year.

The surprises had nowhere near ended as soon Soman was joined by yet another amazing lady; Coimbatore’s very popular 98-year-old Yoga teacher named V Nanammal! And she performed some pretty terrific Yoga postures on stage for the audience. Can we even imagine being this fit when we will be her age?
