2 Pole Dancers Oppose Yulin Dog Meat Festival With These Provocative Photos

We can see a lot of people supporting the ban of Chinese annual dog meat festival in Yulin. The good part is, along with the whole world, even the Chinese are raising their voice.

In a very unique way, two Chinese women – members of China’s National Pole Dancing Team and dance troupe Pole 11 – have come up with a creative campaign. Their monochromatic photo shoot is aiming to raise public awareness about animal rights.

Someone described: “These pictures are both chillingly cruel and brave…..puts perspective around the terrible treatment of these defenseless dogs. Thank goodness that these brave young people are willing to show their countrymen and women what they are actually participating in or silently condoning.”

Kudos to these women! Check out the powerful portraits:2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
